The short version (for kids and grown-ups)
You can look around this website without telling us who you are.
There are no accounts, no log-ins and no shop here, so we never ask you for your name, address or payment details.
We do not want personal information from children. Kids, please do not send us emails with your name, photos or other details. Ask a parent or another adult you trust to write to us instead.
We only use the small files (cookies) that the website needs to work. We do not use cookies to count or follow visitors.
If you click a link to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or Spotify, you leave our website. Those apps have their own rules and age limits. Ask a grown-up before you click.
The full version for parents and other adults follows.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller (the organisation responsible for your data) for this website is:
CoBlend Studio, a studio of Studio casa stagioni SA
Stradon 70, 6653 Verscio, Switzerland
UID: CHE-394.215.213
Email: kidols@coblend.studio
We have not appointed a data protection officer, because the law does not require one for a website of this kind. For any question about your data, write to kidols@coblend.studio.
2. Which laws apply
We are based in Switzerland, so the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies. Because this website is also visited by people in the European Union and the European Economic Area, we also follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
3. Data we do not collect
This website is a catalogue. It has no shop, no cart, no payment, no user accounts and no log-in.
There are no contact forms, competitions or comment sections.
We do not send newsletters at the moment. If we start one, we will update this policy first and ask for consent before sending anything.
We do not use personal data for advertising, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell or rent personal data.
We do not make any decisions about you by automated means alone.
You are never required to give us personal data. You can use the whole website without doing so.
4. Children
This website was made for children aged 6 to 13 and their families. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Children do not need to give us any information to use the website.
We do not use statistics, advertising or tracking cookies, so children are never asked to accept cookies.
If a child emails us, we will not ask them for any more personal details. We may ask them to get a parent or guardian to write to us, and we delete the message once it is dealt with.
If you think your child has given us personal data, write to kidols@coblend.studio and we will delete it.
5. What happens when you visit the website
Hosting and server logs. This website is hosted by Squarespace. When you open a page, your browser automatically sends technical data, such as your IP address, the date and time, the page you opened, the website you came from, and your browser and device type. This is needed to show you the website, keep it secure and fix errors.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest (a good reason of our own that does not override your rights) in a safe and working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Provider: Squarespace Ireland Limited, Le Pole House, Ship Street Great, Dublin 8, Ireland, which processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Its parent company Squarespace, Inc., New York, USA, works for it as a sub-processor (see section 7).
Storage: Squarespace keeps server logs only as long as needed for these purposes, in line with its own retention rules. Squarespace also uses some technical data for its own purposes, such as security and fraud prevention, and is responsible for that use itself. More information: www.squarespace.com/privacy.
Necessary cookies. Some cookies and similar browser storage are needed for the website to work, and to keep it secure. They do not need consent.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working and secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), together with the national rules on cookies that allow strictly necessary cookies without consent (for example § 25(2) TDDDG in Germany).
Visit statistics without cookies. Our website provider gives us simple totals about how the website is used, such as the number of visits and the most viewed pages. These totals are based on the technical data described above, not on statistics cookies, and we cannot see who you are. Cookies for statistics, advertising or tracking are switched off on this website.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding, in totals only, how the website is used (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not use Google Analytics or any other statistics tool.
Cookies used on this website.
crumb: Protects the website against a type of attack called cross-site request forgery (Necessary, Until you close your browser)
RecentRedirect: Prevents redirect loops when a page address has changed (Necessary, 30 minutes)
squarespace-video-player-options: Remembers your video settings (volume, speed, quality); stored in your browser, not sent to us (Necessary, Until you clear your browser data)
Squarespace keeps the full, up-to-date list of the cookies it uses at support.squarespace.com (search for "The cookies Squarespace uses").
Marketing cookies. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies on this website. No advertising pixels (for example from Meta, TikTok or Google Ads) are installed.
Videos. Videos on this website are played through Squarespace's own video player, from Squarespace servers. No videos are embedded from YouTube or other platforms. If you watch a video, the player stores your playback settings (such as volume or quality) in your browser. This is needed for the player to work as you asked, so it does not need consent.
Links to social media and music platforms. Our pages contain simple links to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Spotify. No data is sent to these platforms just because you visit our website. Only when you click a link do you leave our website, and the platform's own privacy policy applies. Most of these platforms are only for users aged 13 and over.
Fonts and design. Fonts and design files are loaded from Squarespace servers. No fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, Adobe Fonts or other third-party servers.
6. When you email us
If you write to kidols@coblend.studio, we use your email address and your message only to answer you. We delete the emails no later than 12 months after your request is closed, unless we must keep them for legal reasons.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Email provider: our emails are hosted by cyon AG, Brunngässlein 12, 4052 Basel, Switzerland, on servers in Switzerland, on our behalf.
7. Data transfers outside Switzerland and the EU
Squarespace may process data in the USA through Squarespace, Inc. Squarespace, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission and the Swiss Federal Council recognise as giving an adequate level of data protection. Where these frameworks do not apply, transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, which are part of Squarespace's data processing agreement.
Switzerland is recognised by the European Commission as a country with an adequate level of data protection.
8. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose described above, or as long as the law requires. How long each cookie stays in your browser is shown in the cookie list in section 5. Emails are deleted as described in section 6.
9. Your rights
You have the right to:
ask what data we hold about you (access),
have wrong data corrected,
have your data deleted,
restrict how we use your data,
receive your data in a common format that you can take elsewhere (data portability),
object to the use of your data based on our legitimate interests,
withdraw any consent at any time, without affecting what happened before.
Parents and guardians can use these rights for their children. Write to kidols@coblend.studio. We may ask for information to check that the request really comes from you.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, in particular in the country where you live:
Switzerland: Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, www.edoeb.admin.ch
EU: the data protection authority of your country. A list is available at www.edpb.europa.eu.
10. Changes to this policy
If the website changes (for example if we add a newsletter or a statistics tool), we will update this policy before the change goes live. The date at the top shows the latest version.
